Mono Mono Twins

An Ohio family is excited to welcome their brand new twins into the world this past week. This rare birth was monoamniotic "mono mono" in which the babies share the placenta and amniotic sac. It only happens in around 1 out of 10,000 births and will be one to remember for Doctor Justin Lavin. The twin girls were holding hands during birth. Before delivering baby Jenna and baby Jillian, both under 5 pounds, the family had to spend lots of time at the hospital. These rare twins can suffer from umbilical complications and therefore had to stay under close supervision. Now the family is excited to bring back two younger sisters for their 15 month old boy.
